Is it possible to make your own LED powered lamp or flashlight?
If it is possible, can you provide instructions on how to do it?
I want to have at least 5-10 LEDs shining together

Each led requires 1.7 to 2.2V,depending on colour.
But blue and white need 3.5v each.See 2nd Link fig 7.
What ‘batteries’ do you want to use. to use?
What container or housing will be used?
Is a reflector required, if so, how can several
LEDs be placed a the focus?
Allow space for switch, and wiring.
How are connections to be made to
‘batteries’?
For a multi LED flashlight, operating at
low voltage. a control circuit will be required.
Your challenge as a designer is to best
accomodate the above conditions.
Hint. Get a faulty mobile phone, with a good
3.5 to 3.7V battery and charger. Remove all
the electronics bar the wiring between the
charging connections and the battery. Fit a
small slide switch. Mount the LEDs inline,
but recessed along the top of the phone
case.
Construct a control circuit as Fig 8 at 2nd Link.
