Which type of hardware is better…?
WHICH TYPE OF BULB FOR MAKING A FLASHLIGHT IS BETTER?
I mean that in terms of luminosity (which one shines stronger & farther)… Is it the Cree Q5 LED bulb, or is a Xenon 9V/1.2A better…
I am trying to make my own flashlight, but I do not know which one has a stronger capability for “blinding someone” (not my purpose—i said that just to explain the actual strength of the bulb/lamp)

I did some looking, and the Cree will provide between 175 and 275 lumens, whereas the xenon will provide somewhere from 230-300, but it is using 1.5A according to what I found, while the LED would use 1.0A. I would recommend an LED because they use less power and last much longer, and are more rugged. Cree is a manufacturer of LED’s and Q5 is a model name.
