Anyone have anything good or bad to say about Vaxcel Da Vinci ceiling fans versus a more expensive Hunter?
Buying a 52 inch fan for our living area: hoping to cut back on costs and no longer use A.C.
Hunter and Casablanca make the quietest fans. Casablanca are just about soundless.
So, if the fan is going into a normally noisy area, and you don’t have sensitive ears, it may not matter, but if it’s going into a bedroom or a quiet study, go with the best you can afford so you get the quiet.
I made the mistake of saving a little on a Ceiling Fan, and tho it spins fine, it has a whine. At least it’s not in the bedroom. All our other fans are Casablanca, 25 years old and still silent.
