How to clean white macbook fan?
Recently I noticed that the fan is making alot more noise, I believe alot of dust might have built up, what would be the best way to clean it without disassembly? Explain how to do it please.
Vacuum? Compressed Air?
Compressed air, you can buy some in a can from any office supply store. However if the fan makes noise as it spins up due to more heat from the laptop, and the laptop is more than 2 years old, you probably have a bad fan, and no amount of cleaning or lubrication will help. You will need to replace it.
