Where should I go to get a DC power connector fixed?
My daughter shattered the inside DC 9.5V connector of her SONY portable DVD player. Where can I go to get this fixed and how long should it take? How much should it cost? Is this just soldering a new one on the the circuit board?
Would Radio Shack be able to help me?
Radio Shack may be able to help you find the parts to replace/repair the connector. It may just be as simple as soldering a new one on. One suggestion would be to find a computer repair shop that services laptops. This type of damage is fairly common on older laptops. Not sure of the costs.
