What should I do about a sad dog?
One of my friends has a dog called Patches.
She’s a really sweet dog. She seems to want attention and tons of love (like most dog do) but my friend’s dad locks her in a cage all day and doesn’t even let her in the house or play with her.
He puts her in a crate with a blanket over it when she barks a little or tries to play with me behind the baby gate. (They put her in the foyer and don’t let her out.)
She seems so sweet and doesn’t have any love, and I feel sorry for her. Is this considered pet abuse?
Also, they may be moving to Hawaii, I have no idea. If they do, would it be difficult to take the dog? Would it have problems?
that is a very sad situation. ppl like that shouldnt even have a dog. whats the point just to keep her caged. yes it very much sounds like form of animal abuse. they are not giving it the love it deserves nor room to run and play by keeping it caged up or covered up becasue it barks a little. she just wants/needs some attention. if you can see if you can take her in or find her a home if they dont want her. for them to take her there is a quarentine policy i think for 14 days i think…or maybe longer…to make sure dog isnt or hadnt gotten sick along the way. if they treat her this way here they are not going to change just because they move away. pateches needs a good loving family….
